Giacomo Piovan (1987) is an Italian designer attending the second year of the Master in Social Design at the Design Academy Eindhoven. He graduated from the Politecnico of Milan with a thesis on Urban Gardens. He is co-founder of Steelè, a design studio based in Schio that is working with the craft and folk techniques of the region. He has had exhibitions at Salone del Mobile of Milan, 100% Design in London and SUN of Rimini.
Giacomo is currently working at La Città Mobile on his thesis in which it is assumed to combine his interests: gardening and cooking. Through his projects, Giacomo is researching a new relationship between man and the city, nature and technology, heading towards the issues of developing a new contemporary beauty.
